The Allegra Chamber Orchestra is an all female-identifying professional orchestra with a mandate of social action through music. All of Allegra’s artistic ventures bring musical and practical elements together to create healing and understanding in our communities, through the organic interaction between the arts and society.

Join us for this showcase of astounding compositional voices from all over Canada! This concert is the culmination of the Composer INC. project presented by the Allegra Chamber Orchestra, a six-month intensive in which industry professionals mentor the composers throughout the composition and various professional development processes. This concert features the Allegra Composer Ensemble conducted by Janna Sailor, and six composers from both the 2024 and 2021 Composer INC. sessions.
